Assess to Come Full-Circle

by Megan Bullard on November 23, 2009

There are many attributes that people associate with leadership. Those in leadership positions usually possess a combination of strong qualities that make them stand out. While leaders tend to be strong in areas that others are not, they often neglect the fact that they have areas that can be developed as well. Leadership evaluations are an effective way to help leaders develop to their full potential.

Giving leaders an opportunity to grow allows for the business and employees to grow as well.

The Checkpoint 360 gives employees an opportunity to evaluate their leaders. This assessment measures eight management and leadership competencies as well as eighteen supporting skill sets necessary to be an effective leader. It is important that leaders have an opportunity to reward weak areas that are usually not recognized or evaluated. Giving leaders an opportunity to grow allows for the business and employees to grow as well. Productive leaders are willing to admit that they too could improve, and the Checkpoint 360 will allow them to identify where they need to start.
